The RSPB Guided Bird Walk Rince of Wales Park 24:3:24 

We welcomed Airedale and Bradford RSPB Group on what was a beautiful sunny morning , 17 of of us set off round the perimeter path recording, Paul leading us and Carol recording the seen and heard birds identified.

Of note a red kite was seen over to fields between the park and college, as was a peregrine , the later it was speculated would be seen more frequently as a peregrine trail has now been established with boxes on five sites across Bradford notably Damart Mills and Dolton Mills so keep your eyes peeled in the park. 

Other birds seen , Jackdaws (who apparently always fly in pairs) , thrushes, crows, blackbirds , goldfinches, blue tits, great tits . 

Many more were heard especially the elusive woodpecker, nuthatch and Robin . 

We enjoyed a  beautiful two hour walk round the park and although it was not our greatest haul of birds seen and heard it was most enjoyable .

A collection and donation was presented to the Bradford and Airedale Group of the RSPB with our thanks for including us in their programme of visits.
